Lower School Spring Concert

Faculty, staff, and loved ones gathered in the Lower School Field House to watch students in pre-nursery through grade 5 perform their Spring Concert on May 10. A full school year of practicing instruments and vocals has clearly made an impact, as the students were able to perform more complicated arrangements, such as harmonies, rounds, and instrumental compositions with varying parts. The pre-K and kindergarten classes sang and signed Randy Newman’s “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” And third grader Charlie Ban-Williams, who has been playing the violin for longer than most of his peers, beautifully performed “A Small Concerto Grosso for Violin” by T. Seivad with music teachers Robert Davies and Margaret Bodkin.
