Ross School welcomed three educators from Thailand on October 3 and 4. The teachers visited the Upper and Lower Schools to observe classes and sit down with faculty and staff to learn more about Ross’s education practices and philosophies. Ultimately, their goal is to improve the education system at their school in Thailand, Khon Kaen Education Initiative, by adopting specific qualities and components from Ross and other U.S. schools they are visiting. Among the aspects they liked about Ross were the strong teacher-student relationships and beautiful physical environment of the classrooms and campus. They also liked how the teachers work together to seamlessly integrate disciplines. “We want to open our minds and help inspire our students,” said Chutinton Huttapanom, an English teacher and assistant principal at Khon Kaen.
